Teachers Again

Today and Monday Erica C. is gone, so we are taking over her class. Monica, a lovely substitute teacher is present, but since we've been helping Erica C. develop her project, we have a better idea of what is going on, and stay with her students the whole day.

Half-Day Fun-Day

Today is a half day, so we go with 15 of our new high school friends to the Parque Arauco Mall. There we walk around, talk, and eat at the food court. Having fried chicken from the KFC was quite the culture shock... We have a great time and even get ice cream from Emporio la Rosa, deemed to produce some of the best ice cream in the world (top 25 worldwide). They have a famous "Rosa" flavor, said to taste like rose petals. And boy, does it taste like roses.
