Oscar Judges

We are asked by Alana to create categories for the Oscars she is going to be hosting in her class for her students' book trailers. After we create the categories, Brian watches all 23 videos and picks winners for 11 categories. He also creates award certificates for each winner of a "Frick Award," named after Alana's last name.

Teaching Life Part II

After working on the Frick Awards, Brian heads over to Lissa's class to take charge of a classroom once more. He enters with a "chill" mindset again, yet sets clearer expectations at the beginning of the class. He asks the class to come to a consensus as to which music to play, and they decide to listen to Drake's new album on the class speakers while they work. Everything goes well (much better than the last time), apart from one student having her school iPad stolen. She spends a majority of the class period looking for it, and eventually finds it in the hands of an unsuspecting second grader. Unfortunately, everything was remotely erased from her iPad, and she spends the remainder of the class period recovering her apps and data.  

DJ Photography

During the evening, Brian is hired to photograph a local DJ at the California Cantina. The DJ's name is Karmy, and he is a Chilean having played at big concerts all around Chile, Argentina and other South American countries. His goal is to get pictures for promotional posters and flyers. After taking almost 500 pictures with only his camera and built-in flash, Brian finds a few pictures he likes.
